Fancy Fold Design Team - Two Fold Panel Card

The

Hello Friends and welcome to the first edition of the Fancy Fold Design Team Blog Hop for 2021! This month, we all tried our hand at the Two-Fold Panel Card. This one is SO simple, and the possibilities to design and decorate this card are numerous!

I decided to showcase some of the Sale-a-Bration rewards with my project. The patterned paper is from the Paper Blooms DSP pack and the stamp set is A Touch of Ink. Both items you can get for FREE with qualifying orders.

I love how I was able to use different DSP on each panel. Think about all the options you could come up with! I know I'll be adding this design to my bank of go-to cards!

Card Measurements:

  • Seaside Spray card stock base: 11" x 5 1/2"

  • Left side panel DSP: 1" x 5 1/4"

  • Middle panel DSP: 1 1/2" x 5 1/4"

  • Right side panel DSP: 3 1/2" x 5 1/4"

  • Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4"

  • Inside DSP: 3 1/2" x 5 1/4"

  • Basic White cut with largest circle from Stitched Shapes dies

  • Scrap of Basic White

  • Seaside Spray: 11" x 1", scored at 4 1/4" and 8 1/2"

Card Details:

  • Cut card stock base and score on the long side at 1 3/4", 5 1/2" and 9 3/4"

  • Fold in half at 5 1/2" score line. With the 1 3/4" score line on the bottom and the 9 3/4" on the top the folded edge should be to the right. Fold the two smaller score lines so their folded edges face to the left.

  • Attach DSP panels using Stampin' Seal and also attach inside pieces.

  • Cut large circle from Basic White using Stitched Shapes dies. Stamp flower image in Sahara Sand and colour with Rococo Rose and Old Olive Stampin' Blends. Stamp sentiment in Seaside Spray.

  • On scrap of Basic White, stamp humming bird in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Colour with Night of Navy and Seaside Spray Blends. Top with Wink of Stella if desired. Fussy cut out.

  • Fold 1" strip of Seaside Spray to create belly band. Wrap around the card to get good fit and adhere ends with Seal. Trim excess if required.

  • On back of circle die cut, loop twine so it peeks out behind the circle as desired. Attach die cut to belly band using Stampin' Dimensionals.

  • Attach bird to circle using Stampin' Dimensionals

I hope you enjoyed my design and I encourage you to hop with the other talented Artisans to see this fold in action! A complete list of the supplies I used will be found at the bottom of this post.
