Amazing Pink Sheep

Good day Friends and welcome! I‘m so glad you’re joining me today. It’s a long weekend here in Ontario and I’m busy getting the kids ready to head back to school; but, I wanted to pop on and share this card that I made during my Facebook live last Monday. Funny enough, I hadn’t even planned on making a card last week, I was just going to share some swaps I’d received. However, earlier in the day, I’d been inspired by a card made by Sam Hammond Donald and I wanted to try it! Of course, I had to put my flair on it.

This card features the stamp set, Counting Sheep, which you can earn for FREE until September 30th, or until supplies run out, as part of Sale-a-Bration!

I started with the Basic White Memories & More Cards & Envelopes; I selected the larger size which creates a card 6 1/4” x 4 1/4”. I then cut a piece of Blushing Bride to 6” x 4”. I created the background by stamping the little sheep in Blushing Bride ink on the same coloured card stock and then I attached that to the card base with Stampin’ Seal. Next, on a piece of Basic White, I stamped the leaping lamb in Memento Tuxedo Black and added pops of colour with a light Flirty Flamingo Blend, using the lines in the image as a guide. This was then mounted to a piece of Blushing Bride measuring only 1/8” larger than the Basic White. This was then attached to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Lastly, the sentiment was stamped on Basic White in Memento ink, mounted on Blushing Bride, again 1/8” larger than the white, and attached to the corner of the popped up image using Seal. I finished it off with some Wink of Stella on the lamb and a few Rhinestones. Be sure to watch the replay of the live not only to see me create this card, but to also see a lot of amazing project samples using other products from the July-June Mini Catalogue.
