Eggciting Celebration

Well hi! I'm so glad you're here. I'm continuing my showcase today of the Hey Chick and Hey Birthday Chick bundles!

Okay, seriously...how cute is this card? It's eggtastic!

Card Measurements:

  • Calypso Coral Card Base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"

  • DSP: 4 1/4" x 3 1/4"

  • Basic White cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies

  • Scraps of Basic White

  • Scrap of Pool Party

Card Details:

  • Cut the card base and fold in half.

  • Cut DSP to size and set aside.

  • Using Stitched so Sweetly dies, cut Basic White and attach to DSP with Stampin' Seal. Attach DSP to card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.

  • On scrap of Basic White, stamp 6 closed eggs from Hey Chick stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and one birthday chick egg from Hey Birthday Chick stamp set. Cut out using coordinating dies: Chick dies and Birthday Chick dies.

  • Use Watercolour Pencils to add shading and colour to the eggs. Soften with Blender Pen or Water Painter. Add Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of each egg and begin to layer on top of the die cut card base.

  • On scrap of Pool Party card stock, stamp greeting in Bermuda Bay ink. Use Paper Snips to cut sentiment into three separate pieces and attach to card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
