Fancy Fold Design Team Blog Hop - Window Accordion Easel Card

It's been a few months since I was last able to join in with my stamping friends for the Fancy Fold Design Team blog hop. This month, we're exploring the Window Accordion Easel Card. I have to admit, I was totally intimidated by the thought of this card and left it down to the wire. In all honesty, I was up until midnight last night designing and creating for today's hop...but then again, I often do some of my most inspired work under pressure.

I'm super happy with how this card turned out, and I'm even more excited that I got to play with some new products from the upcoming January - June Mini Catalogue! So consider this your sneak peek.

Okay, so I know you're thinking "Is that it? What's so special?" Well...beside the sneak peek at the new Simply Succulents stamp set and matching dies, you're going to want to check this out...

But there's more...

This card has layer upon layer of amazingness! In fact, I couldn't fit it all in one shot! Each panel folds into the next so you end up with a standard quarter fold card, 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".

Card Measurements:

  • Pool Party card stock base x 2: 11" x 4 1/4"

  • Acetate Window Sheet: 11" x 4 1/4"

  • DSP x 6: 5 1/4" x 4"

  • Whsiper White: 4 1/2" x 3 1/2"

  • Whisper White x 2 cut with Potted Succulents Dies

  • Pool Party: 4 1/4" x 1"

  • Scrap of Melon Mambo cut with Potted Succulents Dies

I meant to make a video tutorial to accompany this card, but of course because I left it to the last minute, that didn't happen. Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel as I will get a tutorial up in the future. A full supply list can be found at the bottom of this post.

I'm always so grateful when you stop by! Don't forget to use the current host code, located on the homepage, when you shop online with me. Qualifying orders receive my Deal of the Week among other InkBlotz rewards!
