Fancy Fold Design Team - Diagonal Faux Pocket

Hello Friends and welcome to another edition of the Fancy Fold Design Team blog hop. This month, the focus is the Diagonal Faux Pocket fold. This cute design makes it look like you have a pocket with a note peeking out. It's super easy to do and there are so many possibilities when it comes to decorating and adding your artistic flair.

I knew going into this hop that I wanted to use this beautiful paper from the Simply Elegant Specialty DSP pack. I also really wanted to enhance the mixed metals in the paper. I opted not to use silver paper but pulled in the silver colour with Smokey Slate card stock. I then used different mediums to pull in the gold & copper and I’m super happy with how it all pulled together.

The inside has the same copper accent on Basic Black card stock. You’ll find a complete list of the supplies I used at the bottom of the post.

I know the other Fancy Fold designers will have some fabulous projects to share with you all, so click the button below to be taken to the next blog, by Teresa Milke-Steinman, for more inspiration!
