Stampers Showcase - Party Puffins

Welcome everyone, and thanks for stopping by! It has been quite some time since I've joined in with the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop and so I'm super excited to be participating once again! You're going to want to make sure you hop along with everyone participating because this month, we're all highlighting some of our favourite products from the upcoming 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue that we were able to get on Demonstrator pre-order; one of the perks of becoming a Stampin' Up!® demonstrator!

I really struggled to decide which of the products I wanted to highlight and finally settled on a set that is super cute and I know I'm going to have a lot of fun with it over the coming months. It's called Party Puffins.

Seriously, how super cute are these little puffins? There were so many ideas running through my head with these little guys, and I finally settled on this card...for now!

Card Measurements:

  • Basic Black card stock base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"

  • Polished Pink: 5" x 3 3/4"

  • Basic White: 3" x 4"

  • Scraps of Basic White and Pool Party

Card Details

  • Cut card base and fold in half. Burnish edges for crisp fold.

  • Randomly stamp candles and fish in Polished Pink ink all over Polished Pink card stock. Attach to base using Stampin' Seal.

  • Using Hippo & Friends dies, insert Basic White over long side of die on the left, and under the die on the right to cut only the one side, creating the stitched edge detail.

  • Stamp party hat puffin and cake in Memento ink on the Basic White. Colour in with Stampin' Blends.

  • Wrap a piece of Polished Pink ribbon around the label and tie in a bow. Attach label to base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

  • On a scrap of Basic White, stamp a puffin and use your Paper Snips to cut it out. Attach to the bottom right using Stampin' Dimensionals.

  • Using Polished Pink ink, stamp sentiment on Pool Party and cut out using Paper Snips. Attach to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

  • Sprinkle on Rhinestones to complete.
