Hello Friends and Happy Monday! I'm so excited to be hopping with the Stampers Showcase team once again. This month, we are focusing on Black & White. There is something so elegant about black & white projects. I'm excited to share my design with you all.
As Father’s Day is quickly approaching , I decided to highlight a fantastic card to honour the occasion.
I used the stamp set, A Good Man. This set is just perfect for celebrating the Dads in your life; but, it's also great for some pretty awesome masculine cards outside of Father's Day.
Basic Black card stock base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4:
Basic White: 5 1/4" x 4"
DSP: 1 3/4" x 5"
Basic Black: 5" x 3 3/4"
Basic White cut with largest of the narrow Stitched Rectangle Dies
Cut your card base, score at 4 1/4" and fold in half. Burnish the edge with a bone folder to get a nice sharp crease.
Attach layer of Basic White using Stampin' Seal.
Attach DSP to bottom of Basic Black layer using Seal.
Tie a knot using two pieces of White Baker's Twine, and wrap around Basic Black layer, just at top of DSP and secure in back with Seal.
Stamp sentiment in upper right corner of Basic Black, using VersaMark ink. Sprinkle White Embossing power over image and set with Heat Tool.
Attach layer to card base with Seal.
On Basic White, stamp image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and cut using largest of the narrow rectangle dies in Stitched Rectangle dies pack. Attach to card base on the left side with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Sprinkle with Matte Black Dots.
That's it...super easy! I hope you've enjoyed the project today and have come away inspired. For even more inspiration, hop along with the other creators around the world. Simply click the button below to be taken to the next blog.
