Thinking of Nature's Meadow

Ahhh, Sunday!

It has been an incredibly busy weekend, so I'm looking forward to a day of relaxing with my family and manifesting my goals for the week ahead. I'll also be catching up on some much needed housework, though I'm really not looking forward that that piece of the day; and holding my Team meeting tonight. So I guess the "busy" continues; but you know what? I love it! I especially love meeting with my amazing team and I have so many great things to share with them after three days attending the Backstage@Home Leadership Conference that Stampin' Up! held for its leaders these past three days. I'll write a little more about that at the end of the post.

Today, I'm sharing some Happy Mail that I received. As much as I love to make and send cards myself, it warms my heart and fills my soul to receive handmade cards from others. Today's card was sent to me by Cindy Boutin and it's just too pretty not to share with you all.

Isn't it beautiful? I actually had to try and figure out what type of fold this is as I hadn't seen it before; but once I looked at it long enough, I realize it's an easel card that has been turned to stand vertically, isn't it cleaver?

What a unique way to use a well-known fold! I'm definitely going to have to give it a go. In additional to the fold, let's take a closer look at the design. Cindy used the new Harvest Meadow Suite to create this card. The Nature's Harvest stamp set features these BEAUTIFUL flowers that remind me of Black-eyed Susans. Coordinating dies make it easy to cut out the image perfectly. The flowers are then mounted on two different labels from the Tasteful Labels dies. The sentiment is also cut out using these dies. I'll include a complete list of the supplies used at the bottom of this post.

Registration is still open for my Christmas Card Club. Here's a little sneak peek at some of the projects you'll be making in September.
