Hello Friends! Happy Saturday. I'm so excited to be hopping today with the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop team. This month, the hop is a colour challenge; and, we needed to use a minimum of three of the following colours:
It took me some time to decide the best way to use the colours; but eventually it came to me and I'm pleased with how it turned out.
I just felt all five colours worked so well together that I couldn't leave any of them out! I used the lovely, Hand Penned Petals stamp set, and coloured the beautiful flower with Stampin' Blends in the five colours. It's then cut out using Layering Contours dies and applied to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals. To create the scallops, I cut the edge of the card front with the scalloped edge die from the Scalloped Contours dies. I then repeated the process on each of the colours and layered them up the card front, securing with Stampin' Seal. The sentiment is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White and I've used my Paper Snips to cut it out and attached to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. A sprinkling of Rhinestones and some Wink of Stella complete the look.
