Good day Friends, and to all my fellow Canadians, Happy Thanksgiving weekend! I hope you're all getting to spend some quality time with family. I am most definitely grateful to be able to have a family dinner with my extended family this weekend; the first time in a year and a half!
While I'm off enjoying time with my husband's family today; I wanted to stop by and share a project for today's Ink. Stamp. Share Showcase Blog Hop. I love this hop as the focus is simply to share things we've been working on. I don't always share everything I have going on and this hop gives me a platform to do so.
What I've been working on are welcome kits for all the new team members that join me in September. I paired the Nature's Harvest Bundle with Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper to create these welcome cards. Of course, there are other items that go into my Welcome Kits, but you'll have to join my team to see those ;)
Which do you prefer, the Night of Navy flowers or the Merry Merlot? I like them both; but I think I may lean to the Night of Navy just ever so slightly.
Card Measurements:
Card Base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Merry Merlot or Night of Navy: 5 1/4" x 4"
Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper: 5" x 3 3/4"
Merry Merlot or Night of Navy: 4" x 2"
Basic White: 3 1/2" x 1 3/4"
Basic White: 4 1/2" x 3"
Card Details:
Cut card base to size and fold in half. Burnish the fold with Bone Folder for sharp crease.
Cut matte in colour of choice to 5 1/4" x 4" and attach to base with Stampin' Seal.
Cut Designer Series Paper, measuring 3 3/4" x 5, and attach to card front using Seal.
On the larger piece of Basic White, stamp the flower cluster in colour of choice. Cut using Harvest dies and attach to card front using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
Cut medium sized label using Hippo & Friends dies in desired colour; and the small label in Basic White. Stamp sentiment in desired colour on Basic White. Sponge the edges of the white label before attaching to the larger label matte with Stampin' Seal. Attach this to card base with Stampin' Dimensionals, over the flower stems.
Sprinkle with Elegant Faceted Gems to complete the look.
